Install Client Calm and complete a safe first configuration for a client handoff.
Before you install
Client Calm is designed for agency-managed WordPress sites where administrators keep full control and clients receive a simpler editing experience.
- ✓ Confirm you have administrator access.
- ✓ Update WordPress and take a normal site backup.
- ✓ Decide which client roles should receive a simplified admin experience.
Install and activate
Install the plugin from the ZIP or checkout/download link, then activate it from Plugins in WordPress.
- ✓ Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- ✓ Upload the Client Calm ZIP and click Install Now.
- ✓ Activate the plugin, then open the Client Calm settings screen.
First configuration pass
Start conservatively, verify with a test client user, then adjust menu and notification settings as needed.
- ✓ Apply the default client-safe preset.
- ✓ Review the dashboard as a non-admin test user.
- ✓ Save a settings export for reuse on similar sites.
